Carta da Parati
“At that moment, a drop of insanity could cause one to go completely mad. If I could drive Mrs.Sasaki mad as well, then life would’ve been more fun.” (Handmaiden 2016). “Do you know what’s really scary? You want to forget something. Totally wipe it off your mind. But you never can. It can’t go away, you see. And… and it follows you around like a ghost.” (A Tale of Two sisters 2003)
From “Handmaiden” to “A tale of two sisters” both female characters shows their sorrowful past in a psychotic state. “Hana” depicts it using natural elements such as water, leaf and flower, shade of yellow, green, blue with symmetrical lotus illustration that is both calm and beautiful but provoking further emotions.
